Alexandra Mena, mezzo soprano,  is a professional classical singer and sought after teaching artist in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she maintains a private voice studio.  As a teacher, she specializes in classical and contemporary musical theatre, as well as contemporary commercial styles (CCM) for high school and college students on a performance track.  She has also coached students for television and film auditions. 

Alexandra is a member of the Musical Theatre Educators' Alliance (MTEA), the National Associaton of Teachers of Singing (NATS)  and its San Francisco Bay Area Chapter, where she has served on the Board of Directors in several capacities, and as a regular adjudicator at the contemporary festivals.​ She is also a member of the Freelancers Union.
